Often serving as the Captains of small forces.  The Iron liches are very rarely seen in on the field of battle. Often times they stay in the background controlling troop movements and directing forces. They are never unguarded and usually flanked by several lower Cryx. The Iron Lich seems to be a Cryx with more intelligence and free will then their lower Cryx counterparts. Though undoubtedly still at the command of the Cyphelix masters they seem to be able to think and communicate on their own.
