This highly prized chimeratic creature is often found as familiars for powerful users of magic. The septacat is highly intelligent, fast and elusive.  The have a great fortitude for channeling magical energy and also make potent combatants with displacer like  tentacles.  Septacats seem to only be attracted to power and magic ignoring any other handlers and originally deemed untrainable. But in the hands of a qualified user of magic they make strong loyal familiars.
