Omnimagic Skills & Feats

Omnimagic Skills

Skills such as knowledge Arcana, or Spellcraft can tell a player very little about omnimagic’s workings or devices without knowledge of omnimagic itself. 

Without  knowledge omnimagic or a corresponding skill as seen below, A DC of 30 using Spellcraft or Craft will only give the player a very rough idea of what that device may do, “push this button and a ray shoots out.”  The spell identify will give information about the rudimentary functions of the device, but that is all.  Use Magic Device however may get further with  operating the device, with a 35 DC but it is still used without proficiency.  Learning to use and operate omnimagic devices must be done through the Antochian Military.  One would have to join the military and train for several months in order to obtain the necessary skills to use and operate omnimagic items with efficiency.  Hence this allows for players to choose the omnimagic archetypes and become a member of the Antochian Military upon character creation.  Many Antochian Military members do adventure throughout the world on missions and so can very easily be in an adventuring group.  By restricting the use of OMnimagic to the Antochian military, omni magic are extremely rare in Golarian out the Antohian Empire.

This skill can be used to identify and understand how to use omnimagic items.

Knowledge Omnimagic

This skill allows you to know the exact functions of all omnimagic weapons, armor, items, Antochia, Antochia military structure, important NPC's in Antcochia's military and government. 

Craft Omnimagic


You are skilled in the creation of omnimagic armor, weapons & equipment. 

Craft Technology

This skill can be used to identify and understand how to use omnimagic items.

Knowledge Technology

This skill can be used to identify and understand how to use omnimagic items.


Omnimagic Feats

Create Omnimagic Arms, Armor, & Items

You can create omnimagic weapons, armor and items.
Benefit: You can create a wide variety of omnimagic weapons, armor and items. Crafting takes 1 day for each 1,000 gp in its price. To create omnimagic weapons, armor, items you must use up raw materials costing half of its base price.
You can also mend a broken omnimagic weapons, armor, items if it is one that you could make. Doing so costs half the raw materials and half the time it would take to craft that item.

Exotic Weapon Proficiency: firearms (omnimagic)

You understand how to use omnimagic small & medium firearms in combat, and can utilize any special tricks or qualities that weapon might allow.
Prerequisite: Base attack bonus +1.
Benefit: You make attack rolls with the weapon normally.
Normal: A character who uses a weapon with which he is not proficient takes a –4 penalty on attack rolls.

Exotic Weapon Proficiency: firearms, Heavy (omnimagic)

You understand how to use omnimagic Ballista firearms in combat, and can utilize any special tricks or qualities that weapon might allow.
Prerequisite: Base attack bonus +1.
Benefit: You make attack rolls with the weapon normally.
Normal: A character who uses a weapon with which he is not proficient takes a –4 penalty on attack rolls.

Two firearms (omnimagic) Fighting: 

Prerequisite: 15+ Dexterity

Fight with a one-handed missile weapon in each hand. Make one

extra attack per round with missile weapon in off hand. Penalties reduced by 2 for primary hand and by 6 for

off hand.


Improved Two firearms (omnimagic) Fighting

Works as Improved two weapon fighting feat


Greater Two firearms (omnimagic) Fighting

Works as Greater two weapon fighting feat


Combat Loading 

Prerequisite: 3 ranks in Craft (Omnimagic), base attack bonus +1 

Gain a +4 bonus to all concentration skill checks required to load an omnimagic weapon.


Omnimagic Shield Proficiency 

You are trained in how to properly use an omnimagic shield.
Benefit: When you use a shield, the shield's armor check penalty only applies to Strength and Dexterity-based skills.
Normal: When you are using a shield with which you are not proficient, you take the shield's armor check penalty on attack rolls and on all skill checks that involve moving.


Omnimagic Weapon Proficiency Light 

You understand how to use light omni blades and katana in combat.

Benefit: You make attack rolls with the selected weapon normally (without the non-proficient penalty).

Normal: When using a weapon with which you are not proficient, you take a –4 penalty on attack rolls.


Omnimagic Weapon Proficiency Martial
You understand how to use heavy omni blades and glaives in combat.
Benefit: You make attack rolls with the selected weapon normally (without the non-proficient penalty).
Normal: When using a weapon with which you are not proficient, you take a –4 penalty on attack rolls.


Omnimagic Armor Profocoency Light

You are skilled at wearing Omni Armor.
Benefit: When you wear 
Omni Armor, the armor check penalty for that armor applies only to Dexterity- and Strength-based skill checks.
Normal: A character who is wearing armor with which he is not proficient applies its armor check penalty to attack rolls and to all skill checks that involve moving.

Arcane Armor Training

You have learned how to cast spells while wearing armor.
Prerequisites:  Omnimagic Armor Profocoency Light, caster level 3rd.
Benefit: As a swift action, reduce the arcane spell failure chance due to the armor you are wearing by 10% for any spells you cast this round.


Omnimagic Arcane Armor Mastery

You have mastered the ability to cast spells while wearing armor.
Prerequisites: Arcane Armor Training, Omnimagic Armor Proficiency Medium, caster level 7th.
Benefit: As a swift action, reduce the arcane spell failure chance due to the armor you are wearing by 20% for any spells you cast this round. This bonus replaces, and does not stack with, the bonus granted by Arcane Armor Training.


Omnimagic Armor Proficiency Medium

You are skilled at wearing Omni Plate.

Benefit: When you wear Omni Plate, the armor check penalty for that armor applies only to Dexterity- and Strength-based skill checks.

Normal: A character who is wearing armor with which he is not proficient applies its armor check penalty to attack rolls and to all skill checks that involve moving.


Omnimagic Armor Proficiency Heavy

You are skilled at wearing Omni Battle.

Benefit: When you wear Omni Battle, the armor check penalty for that armor applies only to Dexterity- and Strength-based skill checks.

Normal: A character who is wearing armor with which he is not proficient applies its armor check penalty to attack rolls and to all skill checks that involve moving.


Many feats can be used with omnimagic including; Weapon Finesse, Weapon Specialization, Greater Weapon Specialization
