Wizards (Mages) receive a few bonuses spells automatically based on research done during their travels. All other spells must be scribed into their foci by accessing a scroll or tome. See Mages section.  Sorcerers & Bards gain several new spells automatically based on time spent practicing during travels. Otherwise when they use a new spell for the first time they must successfully roll a spell craft check (DC10+spell level). Once a successful check is made the spell maybe cast at anytime with no further checks. If failed they must wait 24 hours to try the spell again.
