Corrupted descendants of gnomes who made pacts with devils in the past. Jinxes are cursed with the fiendish blood and can spread misfortune to others if they so choose. Some use this to their advantage. small size speed 20' +1 size ac -2 Strength, +2 Con, +2 Int, -2 Wis +2 DC bonus to all illusion and mind effecting spells +4 dodge bonus against giant types Darkvision Jinx speak Common, Abbysal, Gnome BAB +0 Fort +2 Ref +0 Will +0 Arcane Resistance (Su): Jinx gains a bonus equal to his Charisma bonus (minimum + 1) on saving throws against illusions and mind effecting spells ER Acid/ Electricity 5 Aura of Unluck (Su): Once per day, a Jinx can create a baleful aura of misfortune. Any melee or ranged attack made against the jinx while this aura of unluck is active has a 20% miss chance (similar to the effect of concealment). Activating the aura is a free action, and the aura lasts for a number of rounds equal to 1 + the jinxes Charisma bonus (if any). At 10HD level and higher, a jinx can use his aura of unluck twice per day. A 15HD Jinx can activate this aura three times per day. Jinx's Curse (Su): Once per day, as a free action, a jinx can unleash a curse upon a foe. The target must be visible to the Jinx and within 60 feet. The target of a jinx's curse takes a -2 penalty on attacks, saves, ability checks, skill checks, and weapon damage rolls for 1 + Cha mod rounds thereafter. A successful Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 jinxes HD + jinx's Cha modifier) negates the effect. At every four HD beyond a jinx gains the ability to use his curse one additional time per day. Multiple jinx's curses don't stack, and any foe that successfully resists the effect cannot be affected again by the same jinx's curse for 24 hours. Any effect that removes or dispels a curse eliminates the effect of a jinx's curse. |
