You are skilled at the art of using
Psionics and can channel the energy and weave the Psi with desired affect. You
can also use this skill to avoid losing your Psionic power if you are damaged
or distracted and to sense psi in the area.
Check
Psicraft is used whenever your
skill of the art of channeling Psi comes into question. The DC of this check
varies depending upon the task at hand. If you are channeling Psi, and you
succeed at the check, you may continue channeling the Psi as normal. If the
check fails, the Psi is wasted. You can also detect the energy of psi in the
area and the condition. You can
tell if an area is stable, wild, enhanced, decreased, or dead. You can tell if
psi has been used in the area recently or is still active.
Action
Identifying the energy of psi in
the area requires no action. Making a Psicraft check to avoid losing a Psi as
it is being cast or concentrated on does not require an action.
Retry
You cannot retry checks made to
identify the psi in an area and must wait to the next day. You cannot retry a Psicraft
check to channel Psi while distracted, as the Psi is lost.
