In the days of the early hermetic colleges, reports were documented of individuals who could manifest magickal abilities with very narrow effects without training in the mystic arts. The first major example was a Venetician Duelist who called himself Aleric the Exalted. As a result, these people have become known as the Exalted or Exalts. Historically, Exalts were very rare, but as time has passed, the number of Exalts have been rising, particularly in the Colonies.

Build an Exalt character as a Mage, but skip the magick school, gnosis and spheres. Instead, spend 50 power points on any trait, as per Character Advancement, including powers, per Mutuants & Masterminds minding the power level limits for PL 8.
