CASTING DC

Level 1 sphere effect - DC 05

Level 2 sphere effect - DC 10

Level 3 sphere effect - DC 15

Level 4 sphere effect - DC 20

Level 5 sphere effect - DC 25

 

Spells involving more than one Sphere use high sphere DC + 5 for additional sphere Turn man to rock -DC 25 (life 4 DC 20 /matter 2 DC +5)

 

Spell with multiple effects use high level + 5 for each additional effect
Str +4 Self / Shapechange DC 25 (Life 4 DC 20 + Life  3 DC + 5)
 
Silent Spell +2
Still Spell +2 

Covert Spell +5

Discriminating Spell +5 (area effect that excludes targets)

Quicken Spell +8
 
 
The Following Modifiers can be added to a spell beforehand by altering the Spellcraft DC.  The effects can be added multiple time: 
SAVE DC +2
Damage +1d6
Extra Target Hit
Duration Step +/-1
Buff +1
Radius +10ft
ER or Shield +5
 
REDUCE THE CASTING DC BY 5 FOR EVERY QUINTESSENCE SPENT
 
 
Example
Barry the Druid wants to cast a regen spell on himself.
Regen Self (Life 2 DC 10) 1 hp/min for 1 min/lvl
 
He wants the spell to last longer, so he modifies the spell two duration step (+10) to take it up to 1 day/level 
The spell now looks like: Regen Self 1hp/min for 1 day/lvl -  DC 20
 
He then decides that he needs it to heal faster, so he modifies the time factor on the duration chart by one step (+5) to lower the 1/min to 1/rnd
The spell now looks like: Regen Self 1hp/rnd for 1 day/lvl - DC 25
 
Having formed the image of the spell in his mind, Barry rolls his spellcraft and hopes to meet or beat a 25.  If he makes it, he gets the spell.  If he doesn't, then he has wasted his time.
